Half a Moon

Writer: introspectmagazineintrospectmagazine

Half a moon.

Oh sweetheart I don't begin.

A starless night but kisses by the pocketful:

Thee and I like love and rain.

Half a heart.

Rather the constellations in your eyes than above

It’d set sail to find.

Thy and mine touch like snow and blaze

Half a flirt,

The only real real I've even known-

The upstate escape

And the stories that unfolded behind the clouds.

Half souls- his and my,

Treacherous times and troublesome hands;

He a flirt with half moon lit face and

The liquor to fill my heart.
